Then on Friday..

..we left at 4 a.m. for Lethbridge, Alberta.
We had quite the rain until Revelstoke, but
that didn't slow Mak down.. it was
only a 10.5 hour trip! With the big project
in the works regarding twinning each lane from Kamloops
to the Alberta border, I can only imagine our time will get
better each trip as the construction continues!
The pot holes were TERRIBLE!
Obviously it was a hard winter on the roads.
We seen nothing but one gopher and a few ravens until
we hit Canmore - suddenly there were deer all over the place.

Not only are the mountains splendid to behold,
when we pulled into Lethbridge, we seen
the economy is obviously still thriving there
(as is apparent in these splendid wheels:)
