At the trough!

 

Our adorable puppies...

Courtney had them all out on the lawn

this afternoon and Sheila came

by with the girls to check them out:)

A few yellow noses..

On Saturday, Nathan decided he wanted a

'raised bed' style garden..

Since our turkeys are going in the 'old' garden

(where the pigs were and the sun doesn't

shine well for garden purposes),

 we thought up plans for this style of garden:

Mak dug up the 20x10 foot chunk

of lawn allocated to the new garden;

lots of turf tossed!!

Threw some ground cloth down nicely

and smacked the boards up quickly..

Today, he came home with some

awesome top soil in the trailer

and lovely looking rock in the

back of the truck for the

surrounding area..

Courtney was playing with the puppies;

they're SO CUTE and cuddly!!

(4 weeks old this Sunday:)

We need about a yard more of dirt

and a half a bucket more of the rock..

I'm guessing by the weekend there will

be seeds in the dirt!

Thankfully Courtney provides us with

cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers,

so it will be some lettuce, leek, beans

carrots, etc. We hope to put chives and

other herbs up on the deck again...

They're 2.5 weeks old now!

Adorable little things..

Aneira is an awesome Mom!!

You should hear the noises coming out of there;

sometimes think we have a sow and a farrowing

crates of little piglets with all the snorting

and suckling and snuffling and.... :)

SPRING soccer again!
