Hunting in Alberta at the end of November..

Now that we are all recovered from the flight during the
125 km/hr gusts in Alberta at the end of last month,
we can show a few of the pictures taken during the
Hunting Trip there...
That flight was something else!
They had the highway closed because of multiple
semi's flipping over, the roof blew off of a school
there, and WE WERE FLYING IN AN
18 PASSENGER 'PUDDLE JUMPER'!
Actually, we were getting tossed like rag dolls..
the bathroom door behind us was alternating
between slamming shut and
slamming open.  Hairy indeed!!

Nathan and Courtney scoping out the area..

There were some beautiful horses keeping an eye on us..

Brother Martin checking out the river bed..

Brother John walking to his spot..

They were out there all right!  Rut just started too...

Courtney LOVES hunting! And animals! So she was in her element...

Everyone walking to where they were going to sit for the afternoon hunt..

There is something to be said for ALBERTA SKIES!

Yes, she loves her animals..and a beauty it was!

This seems to be an annual trip we make in November.  Works out perfect with the few days
off of school for Parent Teacher Conferences and Pro D days booked that month.. We have
many pictures throughout the years of the hunts and nothing but positive to say
about the steak off the BBQ..
There is nothing like it!  And this year there was no snow- a real bonus for me..
I'm inclined to book Mexico over 'Alberta in November' every time!!
