Busy few days behind us..

..we started the last few days with more spectacular sun rises, and carried the day out with pretty much the same schedule all the way until the end.. work, baskets, plans at night..

While the kids were in school, I would go to work, do the few 'town' things that needed to be done, just the regular...
From 2:45 on - 'BASKETS' (with a basket case:)..
One day was spent shopping & running around with my VERY competent friend (who is involved in a wide spectrum of church and school related tasks) in order to wrap up a fundraiser for the TCS Auction next week.
Every class has a Themed basket to fill, which we put together after all donations came in, and they will be auctioned off
next Friday at the Sale..
There was a Beach basket, Lego, Caffeine Lovers, Boy, Tools, Girl, Gardening, Fishing, Candy Roll, Farming/John Deere, Dutch, and Staff Gift Certificate.  We went out and found the items needed to tie it all together.  For instance, the John Deere one is all put in a cute JD wagon, the Tools arranged in a big storage tool box, the gardening on a nice hose reel cover, etc etc.
I think they look superb!
Janae did her fair share in helping out too, so that was nice!!
I have no idea how K did it herself last year!!
Man, it is a lot of work.. Rewarding to see in the end, but...
Resulted in a few pathetic suppers the last few nights! Popcorn chicken and macaroni, for example..
Last night we wrapped up just before 7, and said, 'Forget it..
we are going OUT for supper, so we did just that:)'
Here are a few shots of the baskets.. hope they make a lot
of $$ for the school!

They are much larger than they appear in pictures:)
The candy basket has just under 200 rolls!
A few are 3-4 feet across or high..

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
